The University of the Free State is in the process of recruiting suitable candidates for the position of Scientist in the National Control Laboratory for Biological Products at its Bloemfontein campus
The inherent (minimum) requirements for the position are as follows:
- PhD in Microbiology on NQF level 10.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ practical experience in microbiological culture methods as well as the identification of microbial isolates utilising biochemical and molecular methods.
- Experience in statistical analysis of microbial related data.
